Fast food

Fast Food Facts

Eat meals in fast-food with some frequency almost doubles the risk of diabetes. Because of having fast food, you eat a meal once or twice a week, with up to 70% higher risk of getting over 10 years of this disease. This was revealed in a study by Julie Palmer Boston University, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. As reported by the Reuters online, the expert has observed for 10 years 44,072 women (of color) and submitted biennially to questionnaires about their eating habits and physical activity on life styles, and subjecting them to periodic medical examinations. The women who consume meals at fast food at least once a week are often overweight, are fattened in the ten-year follow-up study, and their risk of developing diabetes is nearly twice that of peers who do not eat frequently in fast food.
